Skilled workers from Spain at RMA

Last week (21.08. to 27.08.2022), seven Spaniards came to our headquarters in Rheinau for a work trial.

Six of the Spaniards were given an insight into the MECHANICAL PROCESSING department and one Spaniard into the WELDING department. Here they were able to see, learn and “take away” a lot, as well as demonstrating their specialist knowledge and skills.

In addition, our support team (Luis Ibarra, Michael Durban, Diana Beltrán and Walter Revollo, Thomas Plocher, Denis Lustig, Achim Sucher, Wolfgang Zink) offered them a number of activities, such as a tarte flambée evening in a nearby restaurant.

There were virtually no language barriers, as Ms. Beltrán, Mr. Revollo and Mr. Ibarra are native speakers.

The seven Spaniards were able to convince the respective department heads and team leaders of their skills and good work, which is why we are confident that we will be able to employ some of the Spanish trial workers in the future.
