RMA in Rheinau – Construction of the world’s largest hydrogen test bench

RMA is currently building the world’s first hydrogen test bench of this size at its site in Rheinau.
In future, it will be possible to test and calibrate gas meters with 100% hydrogen on this hydrogen test bench.
We plan to complete the construction of this unique test bench in the third quarter of 2022 so that it can then be made available for research, testing and calibration purposes.

The construction of the loop is also the first joint project within the RMA Group, as most of the components and parts are “100% Made by RMA Group”.

For example, the drives are from the Niwatec brand of RMA Kehl GmbH & Co. KG and the planning and assembly was carried out by CeH4 technologies GmbH.
EVB Technik GmbH provided the electrical and automation technology and GEVA Gas- und Energieverteilungsanlagen GmbH was responsible for the production of some components and their assembly.
