We are ready for the future with hydrogen!

RMA products are 100% H2 suitable – TÜV approved!

 

The technical further developments have a high priority at RMA. For this reason, RMA has been working in the last few months in a future-oriented way to check our products for hydrogen suitability. In this way, we are getting ready for the requirements of tomorrow and reaching another milestone called “H2 suitability” in the history of RMA.

Together with the TÜV, we test our products with 100% H2 in a defined test procedure for their tightness and general suitability.

We have already successfully tested our ball valves, house connections as well as insulation joints. For further products we will be able to complete the tests in a few weeks.

 

 

Our test procedure, which we have developed in cooperation with TÜV, includes the following tests:

• Material tests
• Non-destructive tests
• Preliminary test with water and air (EN 14141)
• External and internal tightness, tests with 100% hydrogen
  (based on TA-Luft (ISO 15848) – EN 14141)
• Long term swelling tests with 100% hydrogen
